CORSICA

For centuries, Corsica has had a very distinctive history, that of a region with rugged terrain that has given its inhabitants a way of life and an often passionate relationship with their island.

Its borders are made of water, the Mediterranean, the cradle of so many different peoples, of an immense sociological and cultural mix, of influences shared over the centuries from which it has benefited with varying degrees of constraint.

Napoleon said that every territory has the history of its geography.

Corsica is a mosaic unique in the world, endowed with a rare beauty that prompted the ancient Greeks to name it Kallisté (the most beautiful), made up of landscapes as diverse as they are breathtaking, bringing together all the colors the imagination can produce. Corsica is a veritable jewel of biodiversity. Greener than the other islands of the Mediterranean, it boasts an exceptionally rich and varied flora and fauna. From Laricio pine forests to mountain lakes, wild maquis, refreshing alpine meadows and vineyards, the Isle of Beauty captivates with the diversity and beauty of its unique landscapes. Everywhere you look, nature is present.

Its sublime fascinates and dazzles.

Today, it is one of the last islands to have preserved its biotope from the ravages of concrete. All those who have seen, touched, felt and contemplated this land with all their senses will treasure it for eternity.

LA BALAGNE..

THE CRADLE OF A FAMILY HISTORY

At the heart of this sanctuary, it's in Balagne that the Ricco and Orsoni families have been rooted for 8 generations. A land between sea and mountains, a veritable garden of Corsica, where olive, lemon and chestnut groves abound. A region with generosity in its name (Balagne literally means "that produces food"), but also a holy land dotted with religious edifices. So many sources of inspiration for those lucky enough to live here.
