Because the origins of CASANERA was born of a love and respect for nature, it has always been a brand of cosmetics and home fragrances fully committed to protecting the environment. It was one of the first cosmetics brands to affirm its commitment to preserving natural environments and endemic plants.
As an island, Corsica has an extraordinarily rich and varied plant heritage. Its unique flora has long been coveted by herbalists, botanists and perfumers interested in the medicinal properties of the island's plants and flowers. Unfortunately, this long-protected sanctuary is now threatened by human activity and climate change. Concerned about the future of its Balagne region, CASANERA has set itself the goal of enhancing the value of this rich flora, and is committed to protecting it at all costs. Both through a concrete commitment to local associations, and through responsible choices for her brand, she embodies a new idea of beauty, authentic and natural.
IMPECCABLE COMPOSITION
From the outset, CASANERA has always been committed to offering its customers healthy, responsible products. From the selection of ingredients to the formulation of her skincare products, she takes great care at every stage of production to produce natural cosmetics that respect the skin and the environment.
Our products are made in small batches from high-quality plant ingredients harvested in the Corsican scrubland. Over 80% of the plants and aromatics used come from certified organic and sustainable cultivation, the rest being wild harvested. Our products CASANERA are free from GMOs, pesticides and heavy metals, and are loaded with natural active ingredients that have been harvested with respect for the soil and living organisms.
CASANERA is committed to simplicity through a return to tradition. All our products benefit from non-denaturing extraction processes. Ingredients are processed cold to preserve all the properties and natural fragrance of each plant, herb or raw material.
Last but not least, to create its skincare products, CASANERA relies on the Nouvelle Cosmétique 1 quality charter. This charter defines the rules governing the production, packaging, labeling and control of cosmetic products. It guarantees that all products are produced with the utmost respect for the environment, using artisanal processes that minimize the ecological impact and biodegradability of cosmetic preparations.
CONSCIENTIOUS PRODUCTION
Concerned with preserving the biodiversity of the Isle of Beauty, CASANERA has chosen to manufacture its products in a conscious and reasoned manner. To minimize the impact on the soil, she harvests her plants and herbs in accordance with the seasons and biological rhythms, so as not to impact the island's flora and fauna.
CASANERA is also committed to intervening as little as possible in the areas where it operates, and takes only what is strictly necessary to create its products. In this way, it prevents soil depletion and gives it time to renew itself between seasons.
Last but not least, the brand contributes to the re-vegetation of Corsica by replanting in the Balagne hills, thus reviving these once fertile landscapes now depleted by human activity and global warming.
LESS PACKAGING: MEANS DOING MORE FOR NATURE
From day one, CASANERA has been committed to reducing packaging. Working hand in hand with its partners, the company is thinking up and developing new, more responsible solutions: bottles and cans made from recyclable plastic, recycled plastic, reusable or refillable plastic... Today, a major part of its offer is recyclable or created from PET. The aim now is toreduce the amount of plastic used in its packaging.
